Another major sort out

Following the success of my last post, reporting my fabric stash sort out (I haven't lost any fabric in weeks) I have now gone through my two year old's wardrobe and selected all the clothes that she has outgrown and are suitable to upcycle.

I have got big plans for this project, and will be offering this as a service from Jan 2012 but for now I am just turning them into cute little cats. They have to be little as the clothes are teeny tiny too :)

The finished article will be posted shortly, but here is the work in progress...

yes patchworkandlace I have used some in patchwork too it's a really nice thing to do and the results are unique.

I'll post once finished, I guess you could do something with the denim? The cat I am making is from a denim dress, maybe there isn't enough large bit of cloth in boys clothes though? x

I too like making from old clothes, wish I had known about it when mine were small!

This project was really born out of a major issue I have... I just can't bear to part with the gorgeous little dresses, I do wish she wasn't quite so small though as projects are a bit limited by the tiny pieces.
