New Home

evajeanie was borne out of the wish to give original, quirky, personal and handmade gifts. It wasn't a business in the beginning, just a way for me to use my design and sewing skills and make nice things for the people I love. So I made lots of bunting, lavender bags and tea cosies, my friends and family seemed so genuinely pleased with these offerings, it sparked the idea that became evajeanie.

One of these early makes, was an embroidered applique picture for some friends of mine that were moving into a new home. As a house warming gift, typically I would have bought them a plant, or some biscuits, but I instead I made them an embroidery, it was personalised to them with their moving date. I have always really liked this piece and use it as part of my branding. So I was really delighted when a few weeks ago, a fellow folksier got in touch about a commission for a similar piece as a gift for their friend. I was so pleased about this as it promotes the whole ethos of my business, so thank you Helen74 and here is a little peek at your embroidery...

If you are interested in a commission please email me.
