Last Commission for 2011

I feel like I have come full circle, I started the year off with lots of bunting orders and a stinking cold and it seems that's how I am going to end it that way too. I have just found a great supplier of beautiful Scandinavian Tilda fabric and am making my last two orders of the year for personalised bunting using this. I love the combination of olive green and shocking pink. This lingering cold has started to feel slightly better today, think it could be because of the cheery prints, they make me think of (dare I say it) Spring!!

If we are lucky enough to have another light bright and airy day before the finished buntings need packaging for delivery I will photograph them and post some pics.

I haven't had time to update my blog with anything worthy over the busy Christmas period but it is now starting to calm a bit and I have almost got all of my own shopping and wrapping done. I haven't completely closed my shops over Christmas but some of the more time consuming orders won't be available until 10th Jan 2012. If you need something made urgently still get in touch :)

Ready for Christmas

Well I enjoyed my weekend in Wales visiting family, it's such a long way to go for just a couple of days but really love going and Eva is so in awe of the mountains it is worth it just to see her face. What made it extra special this year was taking her to see Father Christmas, it felt really real and I think she was a bit scared, but has not stopped talking about the experience.

I have had lots of online orders and am busily preparing stocking for this weekends Craft Fair at Warkton, near Kettering, it's the last craft fair I will be doing for a while, so if you are in the area pop down and say hello, it's always a great day with lovely people (and mince pies).

Online orders have far exceeded my expectations and I will be taking most things out of stock for Christmas next week to allow for making and  postage times. If you do want to have something made please contact me directly my email is evajeanie@yahoo.com cheery bye for now :)
