Windsor

Just got back from a lovely break away in Windsor. It is such a beautiful place, the castle is vast and our hotel was opposite so we had excellent views. It was especially eerie at around 4pm on Friday when there was a huge thunderstorm.

I was rather glad it rained so much as it have me the opportunity to wear my snazzy new mac!




I also had two orders while I was away that arrived on my phone (the wonders of modern technology)!

Pinterest Addiction

I am recovering from Shingles :( so have decided to take it easy for a few days, not and easy undertaking when your brain is as busy as mine!

I have in this time discovered and am becoming increasingly addicted to website called pinterest the site lets you uploaded images from your own machine or from the web (with links) to your own pin boards, you give the pin boards a theme and then pin things you like to them. You can even re-pin from other people's boards.

If you have an online shop you can add images and links from your items and the prices, but you can basically add anything... books you like, recipes, crafts, inspirations, so what are you waiting for... get pinning (just make sure you have a few days to spare - it is addictive)

Teapots

I have a bit of a 'thing' about teapots, I spotted these today in a car park and I thought they were absolutely lovely. I think they would be really easy to make and would really brighten your day, so I am on the hunt for old metal teapots!!

Another box ticked

I have been meaning to have a go at making metal frame clasp purses for ages, I bought the glue and the frames but have been too scared to have a go as I have heard it's really fiddly. But today I bit the bullet and here is the result. I will eventually also do embroidered versions but I thought it best to keep it simples with the first few :D

and yes it is pretty fiddly

Evajeanie has finally made it to the noths.com showcase - an area they dedicate to new sellers, whilst I am pleased about this I am also a bit miffed as they have chosen to showcase my 'beach hut' purse, which is my cheapest item and not indicative of my core business which is bunting! Anyhow, am pleased to have made it and hopefully my purse will stand out enough to entice buyers to look at my shop :)
